"What's linking slavery to your dinner plate?" Pretty much everything, if you are not a vegan! This article is about a form of human slavery and yes, that's abhorrhent. But so is ANY kind of slavery. And the meat, fishery, dairy, zoo, entertainment and biomedical industries all practice slavery with impunity. That's what I expected this article to be about when I saw the headline. I am disappointed that it wasn't.
