University of Bristol
Every little counts, University of Bristol reminds us. A powerful example of how easy it is to make a difference and reduce your carbon footprint in 60 seconds
University of Bristol Entry
This film shows the Student Union building at Bristol fully lit and how it only takes 60 seconds to switch it off. The message is that lighting is a big energy user; switch it off when it's not needed. The low pace and gentle music is a nod to the likes of Andy Warhol, less is more. It also aims to draw the viewer in for the final message. A challenge is given to everyone who watches the film to switch off their building quicker; whether a student union or any other building. It would be interesting to see if this challenge is taken up by others?
