PICK OF THE DAY: MuLondon Organic Lavender Moisturiser

The Ecologist

2nd February, 2011

Handmade, 100 per cent organic and PETA approved, MuLondon’s organic lavender moisturiser is perfect for dry skin

Natural products are becoming the norm, with everyone from Clarins to La Mer emphasising their botanical ingredients and green credentials. But green beauty products have had a bad rap over the years, with watery textures, greasy formulations and bizarre smells among common complaints. But this is 2011 and things have moved on. Forget what you thought you knew about organic moisturiser because if MuLondon’s Organic Lavender Moisturiser, £13, is any indication, things have changed.

Hand-made by MuLondon founder – and self-described ‘chief cream-whipper’ - Boris Zatezic; the lavender moisturiser doesn’t just smell fabulous, it’s also 100 per cent organic and PETA certified to boot. The concentrated formula means it’s slightly heavy and a little greasy, so much better when used as a night cream. Dry and sensitive skins will love it, as there are no chemical nasties, and it works brilliantly on dry elbows, knees and cuticles. The Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser, £13, is also well worth a look and is perfect for skin that needs a little extra TLC.

Help us keep the Ecologist platform going

Since 2012, the Ecologist has been owned and published by a small UK-based charity called the Resurgence Trust. We work hard to support the kind of independent journalism and comment that we know Ecologist readers enjoy but we need your help to keep going. We do all this on a very small budget with a very small editorial team and so joining the Trust or making a donation will show us you value our work and support the platform which is currently offered as a free service.
