Carshalton Environmental Fair
With stalls aplenty, the Carshalton Environmental Fair will have lots for eco-foodies and music lovers alike
Showcasing the best local sustainability initiatives in the Greater London area, the Carshalton Environmental Fair this August will host over 100 stalls with environmental information, crafts and demonstrations.
The fair will host three stages with rock, folk, other music and dance. All stages are powered by solar and wind and the bands and entertainers are all performing for free. A wide range of caterers will be selling food ranging from pancakes and jacket potatoes to Thai noodles, Indian bhajis and ice cream. There will also be a bar featuring real ales from microbreweries and organic lager, as well as a Farmers’ Market selling a broad range of local produce, from strawberry tarts to pickles and sauces. Back by popular demand, the fair will feature an eco-friendly children’s area, including a cycle obstacle course, circus skills and face painting.
When: 29th August, 10:30am to 8pm
Where: Carshalton Park, Carshalton, Surrey
Cost: £4 adults; £2 under-16. Children under 12 are free.
