London Green Fair

The new London Green Fair event looks to bring the environmental movement to Londoners in a big way

There’s no denying that the environmental debate is becoming increasingly important for the people of London. Now, the London Green Fair offers the chance for people to come together as a community in order to address this growing conern over their city's green future. In Regent’s Park, the fair will be an interactive smorgasbord of both serious and suggestive takes on the environmental issues that affect Londoners. Building on the success of the 18-year history of Camden Green Fair, the London Green Fair is a natural progression and exciting evolution for this original and great event.
Innovative and energizing, the show will boast over 10 different ecological-zones, including the revival of Wango Riley’s travelling stage, featuring world music brought to the UK in fair exchange. Also featured will be the travelling bike music troubadours, as well as ethical fashion shows, health and healing area, and a speakers and conference arena. There will even be a huge children’s area containing all free natural and organic play, so all ages are encouraged to attend.
When: 4th and 5th of June from 12 noon -7pm.

Where: Regent’s Park

Cost: FREE

Help us keep the Ecologist platform going

Since 2012, the Ecologist has been owned and published by a small UK-based charity called the Resurgence Trust. We work hard to support the kind of independent journalism and comment that we know Ecologist readers enjoy but we need your help to keep going. We do all this on a very small budget with a very small editorial team and so joining the Trust or making a donation will show us you value our work and support the platform which is currently offered as a free service.
