Sustainable building: it's time to join the debate
Taking a closer look at building practices, Castle Debate's event is a must for anyone interested in sustainable construction
What is the impact of current building practice? Right now, 50 percent of UK carbon emissions come from the construction and running of houses, offices and tower blocks. All of these buildings are dependent on vital resources with the construction industry producing three times the waste generated by domestic households during their lifetime.
This March, Castle Debates invites you to join leading scientific speakers including Jon Lovell, Head of Sustainability at Drivers Jonas Deloitte, Professor Bob Lee, a law specialist at Cardiff University, Andrew Stunell MP (Liberal Democrat) to debate on the future of sustainable building methods.
