Talk: Climate Justice and International Solidarity
The Climate Justice and Internation Solidarity talk in Exeter is a valuable resource for anyone interested in taking environmentalism global
As the impact of climate change becomes ever more obvious, it's clear that some countries, sectors and peoples are already reeling from its effects. Those in areas less affected need to show their support but working out to whom and where to direct your attentions isn't easy. Human geography expert, The University of Exeter's Kerry Burton, tops the list of speakers. Discussions will focus on how international solidarity can help the climate justice movement, with a particular emphasis on how solidarity can be achieved with groups that are vulnerable to climate change and new 'green' power relations.
