
Earthwatch 'citizen science' lecture, 17 March, London
A public lecture held by the EarthWatch Institute outlining how volunteers helped scientists gather decades of data in one year
Using examples of three projects currently taking place in the Americas, this lecture - Many hands, New knowledge: the value of citizen science - will demonstrate how EarthWatch Institute volunteers have helped scientists gather decades of data in just one year.
The lecture will take place 19.00-20.30, 17th March. Speakers include Dr William Megill (University of Bath) and Drs Christina Buesching and Chris Newman (University of Oxford).
