BASE 2011 conference, 16 February, London

Following on from the success of its 2010 event, the second one-day conference and exhibition organised by BASE (Business and a Sustainable Environment) aims to teach businesses and the public sector how to improve their profitability through sustainability. Its aim is to bring about the transition to a lower carbon economy in all businesses.
 
As well as talks from senior politicians and business leaders, there will be information, practical guidance, networking opportunities and the inspiration to enable both private and public-sector organisations to seize the economic opportunity within sustainability.
