Brogdale farm fruit festivals June - Oct

Based in the Kent countryside, Brogdale farm is hosting a number of family-friendly fruit festivals throughout the summer

As the home of the National Fruit Collection, and with more varieties of fruit on Brogdale Farm than in any other collection in the world, the annual fruit festivals and events provide an excellent opportunity to celebrate the fruits in season with activities, stalls and demonstrations for all ages.

The festivals provide a chance to taste them and take them away (when they are in season), see them growing, and hear the stories about the different varieties all through the year.

As well as local Kent craft stalls and Kent produce at the festivals, the food events also include cookery demonstrations, food tasting, and new recipes for you to try with the different fruits in season. The onsite café also serves delicious homemade food throughout the fruit festivals and events, using the seasonal fruits available on the farm.

Upcoming events and festivals include:

  • Soft Fruit Day - June 27
  • Cherry Festival - July 10 - 11
  • Plum Day – Aug 15
  • Apple festival - Oct 23 – 24

Where/When: Brogdale Farm, Brogdale Road, Faversham, Kent, ME13 8XZ, with events running throughout the summer.
