Science museum event: what is the future for electric cars in the UK?
Electric transport is London’s issue of the moment. Boris has made an Olympic legacy promise of 100,000 electric charging points in London by 2020 and new ‘wireless’ electric vehicle technology is being tested in London this autumn. But can we afford a vehicle charging infrastructure? What exactly will the benefit to air quality be?
To answer these questions and many more, the award winning documentary ‘Revenge of the Electric Car’ will be showing at the Science Museum’s dana centre on 19th September, followed by the UK’s first interview with the director. The film is a fascinating follow up on the car industry which has completely changed its outlook on electric cars in the last 10 years.
